Eleva2ren was a TV entertainment program that was broadcast live on TV 2. The program was produced by Nordisk Film TV and broadcast from 7 October 1988 to 17 May 1996.
The program, which aired every Friday night, was a mix of entertainment, music and journalistic features with guests in the studio. The guests arrived by elevator - hence the name of the program. The celebrity music for the program was composed by Klaus Kjellerup.
A fixed program item in Eleva2ren was that viewers could call in and participate in a computer game using the phone, this gave life to the characters OsWald and Hugo. The program started at 20.00 and was divided into part 1 and part 2 - during the breaks news and TV series were broadcast such as. Bergerac and A Voice in the Night.
In 1996, after 8 years, the program closed. When it went best, it could muster between 1 and 1.8 million viewers.
