Haftalık Hugo (Hugo Weekly) was a weekly Turkish magazine published from 1993 to 1994 during the height of the Hugo TV show's popularity in Turkey. At some point, it continued its publication life renamed as Hugo Çocuk Dergisi (Hugo Children's Magazine). It served as one of the earliest print adaptations of the Hugo franchise and was aimed primarily at children who followed the interactive TV show broadcast on Turkish television channels.
The core creative team behind Haftalık Hugo included writer Oktay “Okican” Can, who scripted original Hugo adventures that blended fantasy, humor, and moral lessons. These stories were visually brought to life by a team of young illustrators and designers. Akın Çavdarlı contributed the pencil drawings, which were then inked by Oğuzhan Kayan. The color work and visual compositing were completed by Tamer Önder and Halil Küçük. Some issues also featured games, puzzles, and additional narrative content created by Musa Gümüş and Arzu Alemdarlar. Ergün Gündüz, who also illustrated the standalone book Hugo Cadı Sila’ya Karşı, created cover art for several issues of the magazine.
