This time, along with the friends Fernando and Jean-Paul, Hugo will go on a distant sea voyage in pursuit of the witch Scylla - the sworn enemy of all trolls. Scylla strives from the bottom of her dark soul for ultimate power and eternal beauty. And because she hates the trolls so much, she wants to see them wiped out.

Scylla has found a book revealing the secrets of Iduna's Cave. In long forgotten times, the queen of the witches, Iduna, planted a magical tree called the Phoenix Tree. It is located in her tomb and once in a thousand years one apple grows from this tree, granting those first to eat from it three wishes. Now she sees her chance to fulfill all her dreams. The book states that first the magic of Iduna's sisters must be found and learned before the sealed cave can be opened. Their huge statues hidden in various places on the seabed. To break the tomb's magical seal, all of them must be brought to the surface, for each of the statues contains a portion of the magic that opens up the cave as a whole. Scylla sends out messages to all her allies, ordering them to seek the statues and keep the trolls away from the statues by all cost and means.

The game starts with Hugo trying to catch some fish for Hugolina. He does not use a fishing rod but a cannon, which is mounted on the front of the boat. During his nice fishing trip in Troll Fjord, he is suddenly attacked by some of Scylla's minions and finds a document explaining Scylla's evil plans. Together with his friends, Hugo sails out to once again put an end to her evil deeds before it is too late.

Hugo's naval battle takes him through 15 levels where he must complete certain missions. The player takes control of Hugo and his ship. Gameplay includes sailing around and destroying various enemy ships and towers using cannon and mines. Enemies include Vikings, Romans and pirates that try to prevent you from reaching the tomb. Destroyed ships sometimes drop additional ammo and extra health.

The first real mission to be sent is about getting three maps that can show the way to the apple. The maps are divided between Vikings chiefs, which one now has to find and sink in order to collect the cards. The different missions are spread across the oceans around a variety of islands.
