Hugo (PSX)

Hugo, or Hugo PSX, is a video game developed and published by ITE Media for the PlayStation in 1998. It was ported to the PC as Hugo XL and was succeeded by Hugo 2 in 1999.

Plot[]

The players have their hands full to once again rescue Hugolina and the troll kids from Scylla, who needs them to regain her youth. Will the player be able to free Hugo's family and bring peace to the forest, or will the evil witch finally manage to defeat the little troll this time?

As in the computer version, the player can choose between the TV (easy) and Arcade modes. The improvements and additions include a 3D map showing the the various minigames and the player's progress, the scenarios themselves have improved audiovisuals compared to the previous computer / TV versions, and there are animated and narrated intro and outro sequences.
