Hugo 2 is a GameBoy video game developed by Bit Managers and published by Laguna in 1997. Its enhanced edition for the GameBoy Color was released as Hugo 2 1/2 in 1999, featuring color graphics and an additional minigame.
Plot[]
Soon after his adventure in the Castle Arbarus and the breathtaking rescue of Hugolina, Hugo is in trouble again. Scylla has him captured and imprisoned. He now needs to escape from her magic castle.
Gameplay[]
You must guide Hugo through four (in Hugo 2) or five (in Hugo 2 1/2) adventures until he can face Scylla in the witch-endgame (Lightning). The minigame include Ice Cave, Snowboard, Diver, and Forest. The GBC versions adds Aviator.
There are three difficulty levels: Easy, Normal, Hard. At the beginning, Hugo starts with four lives. Every 1,000 points (500 points for easy difficulty level) gives an extra life. On the way, Hugo has to collect as many gold bags as possible. Before starting a level it is shown how many gold bags Hugo has to collect to get to the next level.
