Ice Cave or Ice Cavern is a Hugo TV show scenario that appeared in several video games inclludibg in Hugo 3 (PC), where it is featured on the cover art, Hugo Gold, Hugo 2 (PlayStation), Hugo Platin, and Hugo Die Geburtstagsparty. It is also featured in the standalone game Hugo X-mas Ice Cave, and is used as a bonus game in the slot game Hugo 2.
Gameplay[]
In the classic games, Hugo finds a secret back entrance to Scylla's lair though underground ice cavern, and must make his way across traps left by the witch. He also needs to collect three vases and memorizing their order for form a code that opens the door that will lead him to the Lightning endgame.
The standalone version is an endless game with levels. In the slot game version, Hugo needs to collect a key and open a treasure chest on the other side of the cave.
Agent Hugo variant[]
Some late TV shows (at least the one in Poland, possibly also elsewhere) also featured an Agent Hugo version of this scenario, set in a toxic waste treatment plant instead of a cave but using practically identical mechanics. It was not included in any video game.
